to come into being

‘to come into being (?)’ is an ongoing research project on the process of building and gradually becoming. The project is rooted in rebuilding a connection to a place, in a foreign context. In order to reinforce this connection, a shelter is being built, based on natural matter found around Eindhoven.

The shelter serves as a translation tool of various essential values and principles, that can be observed in relation to animal’s approach to building, permaculture principles, meshworks, the human body, vernacular building attitudes, and the morphogenesis of something coming into being.
